How many bg rci questions can I ask :)?

Is there a way to tell what resorts I can get through bg rci (even though they are not currently available)? Specifically, I am wondering about the Westin on St. John, VI. I haven't been able to see if it's a possible exchange. I did see that Hotel Pointstays can give a small discount there, but thinking of a bigger bargain.

I think there is one person who deposits WSJ in RCI for September every few years. Even so while possible not very likely.

In 12 years of time sharing I have never heard of anyone getting Westin St John thru RCI. Other Starwood owners have gotten trades thru II but even that is at a rate of 2 or 3 a year and that is with a Starwood to Starwood trade preference.

You can trade your BG points thru II by reserving and depositing a BG/II resort with them but u will not get Westin St John. Just not going to happen without the Starwood preference.
You could get Harborside at Atlantis Sept-Nov and Westin Hawaii resorts of u r flexible and Westin Cancun and Marriott's off season.
