Fell free to "bump" every 6 months or so. It reminds me of our wonderful stay in a 2 bedroom cabin last summer. And having the gas grill on the deck made sitting and eating out their so much nicer.

Do the cabins have real fireplaces or gas? I figured they'd all be gas but seeing the stack of wood in the picture could be promising.

They are wood firelplaces. All the wood you need from my understanding. We have been there in May but I feel odd using the fireplace and air conditioning.

Wood burning fireplaces

The lodge units have gas fireplaces, but the cabins all have wood burning. And yes, they replenish the wood so you have all you need.

Those Big Cedar cabins are truly spectacular.

And then there is the cookie lady...

Csharpdev, welcome to Bluegreen. I am relatively new to it myself (1 year) and have only been to Big Cedar but I'm a very happy Bluegreen owner.

What's the trick to getting a reservation for these? I have tried several times to get a cabin, called at opening at the 11 month window...and na da! Then of course, kept trying, but never any luck!

We are deeded two cabins the last week of May (Memorial week)and a studio the same week. We will not be going in 2010 due to my daughters graduation. We have contemplating to claim our priority week and trying to rent them out or releasing them. We have to decide pretty soon. I will give you a heads up and try to catch it if you are interested.
I imagine that people are using them or doing what we are thinking.
