Shame on you Jim, just hours earlier I checked availability on those 3 bedroom cabins for summer. Next available date was in September. Looks like we might need to do a bit of planning in order to stay here.

It's time to start thinking about using your Silver Preferred privileges in planning for summer 2009. You'll get just about any week you want if you play it right. 2br cabin shouldn't be too tough. 3br may be harder since there are only 5 of them. But, soon we will have the 4 and 5 bedroom Presidentials at Long Creek Ranch.

We stayed in the lodges. They are nice. We had a 2br, which is a single bedroom unit with the studio unit. They are made to look like lodges in the Adirondack, fish and wild life throughout.

We toured one of the cabins. If we get back, we will reserve one of the cabins just because we have the points, and like the setup.

If we get back, it will NOT be during a holiday. When we were there, it was over 4th of July and you could not move in the Branson the traffic.

Jim, looking at your past postings on this resort thread, it looks as we checked out the week before you checked in.

It was very hot when we were there. I hope it was cooler for you.

Your pictures remind me of what a beautify resort and area this is.

Our original plan was going to our TS in CA but now more of the family would like to do something this summer. Not enough room there. We were at CMV a couple of years back, which is closest to our home. That was also our first BG stay. Might start thinking about CMV again.
