  • Where are call centers? (Call Center Closure due to SEVERE Weather) Open 7D/wkx2wks

I tried calling in yesterday and again today to use select connections. Each time, I get the message that they are closed due to inclement weather. We had -24 degrees Sunday night, high of -12 yesterday but have a balmy 2 degrees today.

Where is the call in center that they are closed? Are they in the snow belt somewhere?

When I called in the first time for reservations, I think she said they are outside of Indianapolis. Weather in that area of the state has been brutal the last couple days with major interstate closures, let alone keeping surface streets open.

And I just saw this when logged in to the website:

Owner Customer Care Center Closed Tuesday, January 7th.
Please be advised that due to a severe winter storm, the Owner Relations Customer Care Center in Indianapolis will remain closed on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.

Thanks Scott. Because of using the exchange, I have not looked at the website much.

Our cold is giving us a layer of black ice. Makes driving interesting when cars spin out in front of you and you don't see a reason why.

            They are open today.
I wasn't able to get my first choice, Vino Bello, but I did get River Pointe.
Napa in July sounds so much nicer than the -9 below we have this morning.

The mayor asked businesses to remain closed Monday and Tuesday. RCI is located in a county that still was under travel regulations yesterday since there was the foot of snow before the freeze and many people were simply socked in and with the severe wind chills, not able to clear cars, shovel, etc. I think that county is still under the emergency order today but it is has expanded to include going to work.

streets remain dicey, semis are jack-knifing and folks are spinning into ditches. and those are main roads. It remains a big mess here.

Closed today. Frustrating when you need to check if the check-in date on an existing reservation can be changed for a client that can't be done online. Message states that they are going to be open though this Sunday and Next from Noon till 5.

Closed TODAY? Streets last night were Still Very Poor but much progress overnight. Things are much improved including temperature. There have been a lot of water main breaks, I do not know if that area is affected. I would guess some kind of building problem.

I can drive by and flip the bird if you'd like?

I was just coming to post this ... I just got it now….

                          Dear Owner,

First, we'd like to apologize for any inconvenience you were caused as a result of our Customer Care Center being closed most of this past week. The Customer Care Center will re-open on Saturday, January 11th at 9 a.m. Eastern Time.

As you likely heard in the news (or experienced yourself), the Midwest United States was hit with a severe winter storm earlier this week followed by gusting winds and sub-zero temperatures. The arctic vortex created extremely hazardous travel conditions in the Indianapolis area where our Customer Care Center is located. At the urging of city officials and for the safety of our associates, it was necessary for us to close our Customer Care Center on Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday to allow snow to be cleared off the roads and the temperature to return to a safe level.

Early Thursday morning, we received a call from the manager of the Pyramids building that houses our Customer Care Center informing us that the deep freeze had caused a series of major water mains to break, forcing the building manager to shut down all businesses that occupy the buildings. Employees could not be granted access to the building until the water mains could be repaired, running water restored and the flooded elevator shafts returned to operation. Repair crews are working around the clock to re-open the building, and Bluegreen will not be granted access until Saturday, January 11th. See local news coverage of the incident here.

We recognize that the closure has been an inconvenience to many of you, our valued owners. We'd also like to inform you that our Customer Care Center will be open every day for the next several weeks, including Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, in order to accept your calls and accommodate your busy schedule more easily. We hope that by temporarily extending our hours to include Sunday it will allow you additional time to call us and potentially alleviate the high call volume we anticipate throughout the next several weeks.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. For those of you who experienced the storm and arctic chill, we wish you and your families our best and hope you weathered the storm safely.
