I have 6,000 pts that I would like to sell. The home is Orlando's Sunshine Resort.

There is no unit number...you can book which unit you want (studio/1bedroom/2bedroom...etc). You can book anytime you want 11 months in advance. Right now i can book up to Sept 21, 2015.

There is another resort across the road for La Cabana...my cousin owns a specific unit in that one....when i was there last La Cabana and the resort across where shared...you could hang out at either. Is it still that way? What is the other resort called?

ok just got off with Bluegreen customer service. The way the Gold level works is you can book 11 months ahead, but Gold members can book 14months ahead by going on a wait list. So if i want to book January 2016...i can go on a wait list in november 2014...as soon as the Jan 2016 comes to the 11 month window those on a wait list would be booked right away. The also said if we go thru Pinnacle Vacations to sell our points then all the benefits go with the new owner. So membership level transfers, as well as Bonus time at any resort, travellers plus etc. Basically if we use Pinnacle to sell the points to someone esle then this gaurantees new owner gets same level of peaks as we did. We could even go to Pinnacle vacations with the buyer and just ask them to do the transactions so that all benefits transfer as well. Of course Pinnacle charges a fee for this.

Yes, your ownership has a deeded unit and week number.
You say you have 13, 13, 9K points
Log into your Bluegreen account. Go to my account then my points...you will see your contract numbers.
The first to digits are week number (01,02,03)
Next several digits are unit number (0431,0211,311,345)
Next is A,B,C for the type of unit. A and C are 1 BR, B is a studio.
That is the info buyers are looking for because you can reserve your underlying deeded unit at 13 months out.
With your numbers, you should have 2 1BR units and one studio in high red season.

In order for your Gold Benifits to pass to the next owner, you would have to sell thru Pinnacle for $1.25 per point or $45,000. Any other sale does not qualify. This will not happen as people can buy directly from Bluegreen for about the same price.

These two resorts are no longer affiliated and you can not use the facilities. It is called Tropicana (but it might have changed again, has had several names!)

Yes it is Tropicana and although they are no longer affiliated and you can no longer use facilities, if you own at both resorts you can use facilities at both even when you are not staying there.
