We signed contract in MI on 1/19, we have 9 days to rescind.Would the 9 days be Monday through Friday (not including Saturday and Sunday) as business days?

We have 6000 points biannually and 4 RCI certificates. I am assuming I will need to buy points on the resale market to use this effectively. How do I determine if the seller has authentic points? How would I include purchased points into a higher tiered membership? Our deed is with Hershey PA, does this affect the collection of points for premier memberships?

How successful will I be in using the RCI certificates in popular areas based on availability?

    Welcome.

As for the rescinding part, since you are obviously considering that, that little voice inside your head may not be wrong.

Does it come with an exit strategy? For instance, is there a deedback or will you get assistance in getting rid of it when are done using it? The one thing all timeshare owners have in common is that some day they will not need or want them any more.

Some of the best mini-systems of ten years ago are no longer around today.

Have you checked to see if you can go to the same Bluegreen resorts without having to buy? Try craigslist/vacation rentals near the areas you might want to visit. Like this, for instance: http://springfield.craigslist.org/se..._type=&excats=

Generally speaking, people who have quit using their timeshares are giving them away . . . even paying money to have someone take them.

    just sayin'

Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

Hi I was wondering if you decided to keep your Bluegreen points. We live near Hershey and have 26k points bi annually and are looking to sell them. We are deeded in Myrtle Beach but that doesn't affect where you use them. We have been going to Myrtle Beach every year and love it but like I said we could use the points anywhere.

I had posted that I kept my points, not sure where the rest of the thread is. It looks like data was lost after 1/28. Right now I am not interested in buying more points. I still do not have my profile setup. I am waiting for that and want to see what is available at different resorts and how many points will be required to take the vacations we want.

Hi Surfrog, welcome to TS4Ms....if you want to sell your points, you can list them here on our site on this board.
http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...YOUR-TIMESHARE You can list them with an asking price or you could post them for free, just pick the appropriate board depending on what you want to do.

Drifter, you are correct, the server was updated and we lost the posts for 48 hours. Too bad as you were given some good advice about your purchase but yes, I recall that you said you were keeping your points.
