It will be a Par 3 tournament at Top of the Rock, which has been closed for seven years for remodeling. Johnny Morris also recently bought Branson Creek and Murder Rock golf courses, across the highway from TOTR in the 7000 acre stagnant Branson Creek development. That development is also the location of the private Branson airport. A NASCAR-style race track, which didn't get past the gouging of Mother Nature stage, and which Mr. Morris opposed, is also in that vicinity, between the highway and the airport.

When Branson Creek re-opens it will be Buffalo Ridge and will have buffalo roaming on the course, I assumed until one of them walks on a green.

Branson Creek was a sister Troon course to the one I'm at, Payne Stewart Golf Club, until Mr. Morris bought it, so I know most of the guys there, or who used to be there.

Southwest airlines, which was posed to be the savior of the Branson airport has announced that they are pulling out in June, after the shortest stint at any location they've ever served. The airport has lost millions of dollars every year and bondholders have not been paid.

My speculation is that it all would make a nice complex for motorsports, camping, ATVs, etc., with a roundy-round track and a dragstrip (runways).

    Morrisville?

    Here's that area:
