Are they saying you can stay in Hilton Vacation Club (through RCI) or use your BG points for Hilton Hotels? The first is available to both resale and retail owners and the second I don't think is available to either resale or retail owners.

I kinda doubt Hilton is in there at all but admit to not checking into it simply because it's never going to be a good value. and I didn't get into timesharing to spend more time in hotel rooms.

The trust fund may incur the hit and spread it around for us.
also, bonus time is NOT always filled. It wouldn't exist if there weren't inventory. like everything else, prime time in prime places will be difficult to get. But people cancel all the time.
If improvements need to be done at a resort, they are built into the per point fee we pay - we are all part of a trust so the cost is spread amongst all BGVC owners.
Chriskre is a multi-week owner at a resort that is managed by Bluegreen - hence she paid a $1000 special assessment for her 3 units x 3 years = $3,000. Owners whose points are deeded at her resort did not pay a SA - it was spread thru the trust. You should not compare week ownership to owning in the Vacation Club - it is apples and oranges.

Chris, the owners who paid were individual week owners, not BGVC owners. This happened to my friend who owns two fixed weeks at La Cabana. She paid almost. $800 per week for Reno, BGVC owners paid $0
