Thank You very MUCH for your quick response! We did discuss this and decided to change to Nov 2016, but even then we will not have enough points to accomplish what we want. Thanks again for the suggestions. You explained it very clearly, maybe you need to work as a CSR for BG!!!!

Chris is certainly a Bluegreen expert…..

Have you considered adding some resale points to your ownership?
It is hard to get a lot with 7K yearly

      Trust Fund E

      $129 Club fee + $330 base fee + $0.503 x 7K = $811.10

      add 7K more is 7 x 0.0503 = 352.10

Total of 14K points cost $1,163.20
      or 10K x 0.0503 = $503

      17K points = $1,314.11

I find that 20-25K points is the sweet spot for ownership….getting 2-4 weeks or 2 weeks plus 3-4 short stays.

We can show you how to pick up this amount of points for almost nothing on ebay after the first of the year.

      Enjoy your ownership.

I was looking at the RCI exchange chart. Orlando is always in the red, at least it is on the BG chart. Is there another chart that gives you the key to the dates for the color? THANKS AGAIN!!!!

Nope, it is hit and miss, usually September is white…you do see the chart in the link above…there is red white and blue for Florida, not just red.
            But….
Just plan on red for Orlando and if it is not, you come out ahead.

I would definitely count on DVC being always red even if the rest of Orlando isn't.

Probably true.....but the beauty of the crossover chart is that everything is equal....cost the same to trade into a fancy gold crown resort as a dumpy motel conversion. So to stay anywhere in Florida in a 1BR costs the same in BG points

No problem….you need to call Bluegreen and ask them what your Trust Fund (hopefully E) and Sales Type is…then we can match you up with the correct resale. Don't tell them you want to buy resale, if they ask, tell them you are selling!

FYI, the ebay auctions NOW are stating you need to pay the 2015 maint fee which is due November 1-15ish? Better to wait until after this is paid and then buy…so probably January/February time frame.

It's a beautiful resort in a great location.
I don't think you'll be disappointed but you will need a car.
There is a nice Benihana next door and Publix just around the corner.

The property looks really nice, but also requires quite a few BG points

                                That's a shame cause it was only 10 TPU's when I went.
Actually I got it with a resort certificate but the vacation guide said it had a value of 10 TPU so it was either 10 or maybe even less.
I would go back. I really liked it and the location.
I even did the "tour" and got tickets for the Arabian Nights for all of us.
Good thing we did it cause it went out of business.
