What if I want to sell my BG timeshare ?

We purchased a very small points package with BG 2 years ago. The biggest selling point was that we lived close to Christmas Mountain {about 3 hours} and it would make for a decent weekend trip maybe 2 times a year, and we have been going. We are not unhappy with our experience, but we are financially really tight on money and will be for a few years and just today got my bill for the maintenance and dues... uggg.

Where can I get legitimate information about potentially selling? I would have no idea what the buy-back or resell value would be. {maybe not even worth selling, it's so small}. Is it best to sell back to BG? or a third party?

Try here, since some seem to want Bluegreen points. Then, of course, you just did that.

After that, try offering it for free, here, there, craigslist, etc. or, if BG will take it back, let it go.

Do you still have a loan on it? If so, it will be almost impossible. If it's paid off, you might be able to get someone to take it from you, but you likely won't be able to sell it for much of anything.

Check Ebay for completed Bluegreen Points auctions to see what they are worth on the open market to see what they are selling for.

That way you avoid scammers saying you can sell for a lot more than they are worth if you pay them a large upfront payment after giving you a cock and bull story.
