  • Simple question about transferring ownership. Free points 16K + 6KEOY

I've got two sets of points to pass on, a 6000 biennial and 16000 annual. Both are deeded. When I find someone who wants them how do I go about the deed transfer? Which is $450 isn't it? Who do I call to accomplish this? Can it be done without a realtor to avoid closing costs? Is there something else I would need to do in order to transfer ownership of the points? And btw if anyone reading this wants them, I'll give them away

Thanks so much for whatever input you have!

    Hello and to TS4Ms.

You are correct, each deed would need the $450 transfer fee.
There are only a few authorized agencies that so the transfers so if you use a different closing company, you pay their fee ($150-$400) plus the $450.

    I recommend Kris Koski kkoski2400@aol.com

It will also help you to know what trust fund and sales type your deeds are and what resort and week and unit number.
Some people will take a deed because the underlying week is at Big Cedar or La Cabana or Myrtle Beach during prime time. You can reserve your underlying deeded week at 13-11 months out for use or rental which is a big deal to some.

So find out the information and come back and tell us. Bluegreen will tell you your trust fund and sales type when you tell them you need this information for a potential sale.
I will update the title of your thread to indicate you are giving some points away.

I should add that you can have Bluegreen so the transfer by filling out a form on the website but I have heard from others that it is a slow (read low priority) process so for the same cost, Kris Koski will handle all the details and keep you updated.
