    ANNOUNCEMENT: Instant Access to your Points!
    You’ll now notice a new category of Points, labeled Future Points, on the My Points page and in the owner information box in the upper left section of this website. Future Points are your next allotment of Points. But you don’t need to wait until their start date to book vacations with them! The Points simply must be valid for the dates your vacation will occur, regardless of the date you confirm your reservation.
    To provide an example, if the month you earn your Points is June, in the past you would need to wait until June to book a vacation with them, unless you borrowed your Points by pre-paying your maintenance fee. Now you can book your vacation a full 11 months in advance of the arrival date, regardless of when you earn your Points, without the need to borrow your Points or pre-pay your maintenance fees! When you make your reservation, whether online or by phone, your Points will automatically be deducted from the year in which your vacation will occur.
    Your next year’s allotment of Points is already on your account and waiting for you. So what are YOU waiting for? Enjoy Instant Access and Book now!

    I haven't figured out how to use the points I have for this year, now they are showing me I have even more points. Where is the 'pulling my hair out' emotie?

          So I had a strange thing where the system would not book a next year reservation using the saved points in my account. It kept using annual points from the same year instead of the saved points which were good for the time period. I wonder if this is why. Have to call them and get them to do it manually.

            As long as you were booking in Red white or blue time it should have used the saved.

            And it has been pointed out to me that if you want to use next years points for a Resie THIS year, you will still have to prepay and borrow.

            But if you want to use next years points for a Resie next year, it will allow you to do that.

              We had a similar issue when we booked yesterday. There were 500 points in our account (not saved, and still good for a year), and it used all the future points for a ressie, and did not dip into the existing pool at all.

              The algorithm that selects the points could need some tweaking. Since its only 500 points, and I am pretty confident they will be used, I didnt bother calling to see what was up

                Sounds like it. I'm hoping the shakedown cruise is over by the time we get around to making another reservation!
