Finally saw Club 36 on TV.

I was watch the final episode of CSI. There was a long shot toward MGM. In the lower part of the shot, I could see the small Club 36 showing on my screen.

I will be there in Oct, I'll try to figure out what what the other building was in the foreground.
Or does someone know?
I was thinking one of the Universities.

There's not a lot right beside Club 36 - unless something has been built in the last couple of years around it. So not sure how long the shot was on the TV. There are many buildings starting a block or two away. The property is on Tropicana Ave. You can enter from that road and there is a back way in/out of the property that goes through houses/apartments. Across Tropicana Ave from Club 36 is airport property. You can stand on the outside deck that is outside of the pool and watch planes land and take off. The glide path for one of the runways has planes going right beside Club 36. You can only hear muffled plane sounds while inside the building. It's soundproofed pretty well.
