  • BlueGreen?

Two things probably not related or inversely related to my way of thinking.

    1. I closed and received a deed to a 9000 point TS (at you quessed) Shenandoah Crossing back on 8/31/06. I called Bluegreen and they apparently haven't processed this yet and my closing agent stated she talked with them this week and it will be another 6 weeks before they have the paperwork done. Huh!

    2. Have you noticed (anecdotal only on my part) that bluegreen points and resorts are selling for less since the overture from the owner at westgate. An Aruba one bedroom Thanksgiving week went for $1005 this week!

Bluegreen's Resort Title always has been slow except when they get slower.

There is really no correlation. What you are experiencing is the normal after summer slow down in resales. The summer selling season was extremely HOT until about the first week in September. September is the slowest selling month and when lots of Bluegreen sales reps go on vacation.

It is starting to pick up again. When we hit February, it will start building to another crescendo in late August.

Now is the time to stock up on inventory for selling later. Annual maintenance fees are due at the end of this month. So, people are waiting to buy.

        VV,

If this transaction has closed at Resort Title, it only takes about a week for the points to be in your name and ready for use.

Most of the time, when you can't find your points, it's because a telephone number has not be input onto the account. And so, when they pull up your ownerships based on telephone number, it doesn't show up.

All you need to do is have them search for it using your names, addresses or the resort, week and unit number. I'll bet it's there and you just can't find it.

          Boca,

Thanks, I did as you described before posting this. That got my other four bluegreen properties under one umbrella sort to speak. None of those had points attached. This one did. I closed with a different company but they sent my deed to Bluegreen on 8/31/06. Believe me I've been on the phone to both companies several times but at this point to no avail. They said until timeshare title does the paperwork that it can't be seen by the bluegreen reps. I'll keep bugging them. Thanks for your explanation of the things I'm seeing.

            Joe,

I would call Resort Title to find out if title has transferred. If they say yes, then it's a Bluegreen problem. If it hasn't closed yet, then that's why Bluegreen reservations can't see it.
