  • Bluegreen Promotional Offers

Bluegreen is offering several mini-vacation packages to visit specific Bluegreen Resorts and Sales Centers. These packages require you to attend a Bluegreen Sales presentation. There are some pretty good offers and they give you an opportunity to check out the resorts before you buy.

The two that stick out in my mind are Big Cedar since it appears you get to stay in the Bluegreen Wilderness Club and St. Augustine since it includes a couple of rounds of golf. Check it out and enjoy.

Boyne Falls for 3 days and 2 nights for only $129

Bluegreen Wilderness Club™ at Big Cedar® for 3 days and 2 nights for only $199

Myrtle Beach for 3 days and 2 nights for just $99

Smoky Mountains for 3 days and 2 nights for as low as $199

World Golf Village for 3 days and 2 nights for only $349

Christmas Mountain Village for as low as $109

Atlanta for 3 days and 2 nights for as low as $179

    Owners

Bluegreen is also pushing to get owners in for updates in this slower season. We were offered the 3D/2N in a 2BR (even F/Sa) to come to Mountain Run and sit through the presentation for an hour. This was anytime between Mid-October thru mid-December, based on availability. Not sure if you'd get any other gifts as we could not make it due to our schedules.

We just received a phone call the other night offering us a $100 Visa card plus 3 days 2 nights for Hershey for free. I was very surprized that there was no fee involved.

        Bass Pro Sports

I went to Bass Pro Sports around the Holidays and they were selling the BG trips at a discount. I got a Vegas stay (4days/3nights) for $59. They had lots of destinations, many that are listed above, for discounts too. I was told I could go to Vegas every year for the same $59 cost/per year; we'll see if that holds. I own timeshares with other companies, but I will give BG a chance to show what they've got.

Boca's note was from 2006. I don't know if they have any special deals right now.

One of the promotional offers was how we found out about BlueGreen in the first place.....This lady was literally dropped off in our area and told to hit every business that would let her in basically and I was the "office" person that met her when she came in....Did I buy the deal....Yes I did. We were offered a certificate that we had 1 yr to use for 3D/2N up at Boyne Mountain and of course the meeting and tour with BlueGreen. We ended up with 4 freebie certificates we could use at either the golf course or the onsite Waterpark. We chose golf. Then they let our two pre-teen boys golf with us for free so we had 2 left to use at the waterpark. We ended up purchasing the year long trial version for about $900 I think and we did use it. It was nice since we live about an hour away from Boyne. We didn't buy any of the points packages at the end of the year, as we couldn't afford it.....and lol didn't realize we could pick them up cheaper....I am now on the hunt for a small points package for us to use mainly at Boyne. I know alot of people dislike timeshares and I do for the money they charge people buying direct, but I do have to say, they do a good job up at Boyne. During that year we owned the trial package, they would call us up say a week ahead and invite us to an event going on for BG members. One we did go to was a Mystery Dinner and it was very cool!! So I just wanted to give my take on BG-Boyne!! Thanks for reading!!

Hi Melody and welcome to TS4Ms - yes, you should definitely buy resale....pennies on the dollar.
And since you like Boyne, it would be good for you to get a resale there - because as a resale, unauthorized points owner, you can only get bonus time at that resort. With your regular points, you can reserve at any BG resort 11 months out but Bonus Time booked for cash 45(?) days before check-in can only be at your deeded resort.

Best of luck with your search for a BG contract - you might try http://www.timesharekahuna.com/bluegreen/ for help in getting your first package....specializes in BG properties

Where does it say this ?
Because I was booking a vacation this week with a sales rep, not at my deeded resort.
I was 2000 points short and discussed using Bonus time.
The rep said I would probably end up having to move rooms.
So I bought the extra points instead.
