    I got my semi-annual call tonight and for the first time since I owned (1993) the person calling almost ticked me off! I was quite surprised that she was not taking my polite I will not be able to attend this time. She attempted many many times to get a yes. In my experience especially dealing with a member in a club you overcome the objection 1 time and if you still get a no you stop there. But tonights call I must have told her 15 times I am not interested in attending this year. I know this is probably an isolated incident or atleast I hope so. Are others in the club getting the calls that are this persistant? should I next time tell them that If I were to add more points to my account I would only do so only by resale or is that going to open up a whole new can of worms and make them more persistant?

    Normally, they are quite persistent with me. However, I usually say "yes". When I do say "no", they tend to be pleasant about it.

    Some are quite persistent. They are, after all, a resort developer.
