  • Suites at Hershey - Need Rental

    Hi,

Are there any Bluegreen points owners who would like to rent a few of their points this year? I need a 2 Bdr. at the Suites at Hershey checking in Thursday, May 10th, checking out Sunday May 13th for a three nights stay. Any body want to negotiate a deal?

    Thanks,
    Y-ASK

    Y Ask,

Did you try the Bluegreen Rentals on the side of the page? This is what I found for your dates:

Thank you very much for the info. Your link did not come up completely but I was able to figure it out and put in my dates and at $149.00 the 3 night will cost me $447.00 plus tax. Is that a good price since it appears I'm dealing directly with Bluegreen or is there better options open to a renter? It looks like the weekends use a lot of points so how does that balance out with paying $149.00 a night?

      Thanks,
      Y-ASK

Found a better deal than the rental site for the same resort but going through Orbitz. Got the three night stay for $121.00 per night, $410.00 total. If anyone wants to discuss a point/reservation rental and can beat this price by a reasonable amount send me a PM.

That's a good rate. I would go with Orbitz. If I were renting that unit to you, I would charge a lot more. That's becuase of the high weekend point value.

How were you able to get this resort on Orbitz? When I search under hotels in Hershey, PA for the summer all I get are hotels like Comfort Inn, Super 8 Motels etc. Am I missing something?

You must be missing something because I was able to pull it up at work and then again at home when I made the reservation about two hours ago... Make sure you are able to view all of them and not just the ecomony one star ones. Here's what the other online sellers have to offer for the dates I wanted:

              Priceline: $137.00
              Orbitz: $121.00
              Expedia: $150.00
              Yahoo Travel: $141.00
              Travalocity: $141.00

the orbitz price works out to about .057 cents per point for a 2 bed not a bad deal. I dont think I would think twice about that price. BOOK IT

It's a bit more when you add tax to compare apples to apples.
