Well I am a possible new owner with BlueGreen and of course there are many questions. After taking the tour at the Fountains in Orlando I was very interested in owning through BlueGreen. But what hidden information is it that I do not know? After some consideration I purchased the sampler package. Ok any advice for the newbie??

Don't give BG any more of your hard earned money. Read, read, read on the BG forum here and ask questions. You'll soon see that there are no advantages to giving BG money. Learn about resale.Originally posted by ArmyBum View PostWell I am a possible new owner with BlueGreen and of course there are many questions. If you know and plan in advance to save enough cash to purchase it, or if you already pass the rescind period; not owner, but I believe it is a good product, then congratulation.
Otherwise, read your contract now, don't waste your time try to learn BG at this moment. Figure out if you can rescind or not, if you still can, I think you should do it now.

Easy folks, he just bought the sampler. I don't believe that those exist on the resale market.
My understanding is that sampler points are only available at certain resorts, probably only the Bluegreen-owned, which is plenty. You may have some blackout dates - I have never seen the fine print on a sampler contract - READ IT!!!
If I had sampler points, I would try very hard to book the 2 night minimums (during the week!) at the resorts of most interest to me to see if BG is what I really want. Stretch those points and use them as the demo tool they are designed to be.
Bluegreen is a nice system. If you decide to completely buy in, be sure you understand what perks are not available via resale. But for now, make the rounds the best you can to get a full test drive.
