Hi all, First time poster here. I am a bluegreen owner that bought my points resale a year before the big change so I have charter member status with bonus time. If I wanted to add points could I purchase resale again since I already have the first deed with the perks and not be losing anything? Thanks ahead of time for any help and the great forum, Terry.

Yes, but.... If you don't already have Preferred status (20000 pts) you cannot get there with general resale, you have to use an 'authorized reseller'. -
I don't think were really worried about prefered status right now, we were just thinking of getting more points so we can enjoy some longer stays or more trips, we are still just getting our feet wet at this, trying to get good at it by the time i retire in 8 yrs. We just have 6000k every year points right now and I can see where it will not be enough very soon and was wanting to get more before they change the resale rules again.Comment

If that's the case, just buy the cheapest points you can find. They will all combine today without a problem.Originally posted by thracer
The rule that Bluegreen may change in the future is in the combining of accounts on resale. If they stop allowing that, you will pay an extra annual dues for each account you have. Fortunately, they don't do that today. But, I suspect that they may add it later.Comment
