There's some great info in this forum. It sure has taught me a lot about the Bluegreen experience.
Last year I went to Boyne, MI and used my parents points to stay there for a long weekend. It was a very nice place. I loved having the kitchen and everything all there to use, unlike a hotel. Well we went to the sales presentation and it sounded great, but a bit expensive. I figured I'd just use my parents points or bonus time when I could anyways, so why buy my own.
Well now they are wanting to sell their points. I figured it'd be a good chance for me to get in and be able to help them out. From reading I've learned that many benefits do not transfer when buying resale points from a non-authorized reseller.
Due to the possibility of buying them off my parents, is there a way for me to buy the points with keeping the perks such a bonus time? I figured since it's from my parents, there might be a way to have them transfer the title or just add me to the account so I can keep all those cool perks.
Also, I've looked on eBay a little and found 15k annual points (the same point total they have) sold for about $4,000. Would this be a decent estimate for the $$ amount I should buy them from my parents for?
