Fixed weeks to Points

We own 4 fixed weeks at La Cabana-Aruba in Sept., thinking of
trading for Bluegreen points.

Two Key Questions that pop into my mind are:
1) Is this an even trade, or are you 'required' to purchase additional points?
2) Do you keep your original deeded units or will they be deeded elsewhere?

If you've been happy with your weeks all this time, what is prompting this decision? Are they throwing in enuf 'freebies' to offset what you might be losing?

You can do it if you purchase 3-4000 Bluegreen points. They will trade them in and give you points deeded at another resort for the value of your weeks plus what you purchase. All points will count toward VIP and Preferred.
