  • EOY MF Question

I have been watching a bunch of Ebay auctions lately just to get a feel for the BG market. There are a lot of EOY sales that have MFs in the $400-$500 range. I originally assume that you either only paid the MF in your usage year or that you paid half of the MF every year. But some listings such as this one: 9,000 BLUEGREEN VACATION CLUB POINTS TIMESHARE SALE - (eBay item 270158058564 end time Aug-29-07 17:00:00 PDT)
specifically say the MFs are $411 billed annually for 9000 EOY points, which would be equivalent to $822 per year. This listing says it does not include the club dues. Are listings like this a mistake or are the MFs really that high for EOY usage?

Another EOY question is that since you can roll your points over for a year, can you use whatever points are available any year, regardless of what year your deed is for?

You have discovered one of the achilles heals of every other year points. They are good as your first package, but they are not good as you second.

And, you pay way too much maintenance fees for them.

No, you cannot roll them over whenever you want. All every year points are good for 2 years from the date they are granted. But, 1/2 of the points turn into saved points in year two if you don't use them be the end of the first year. And, all points expire after 2 years.
