Hotels of the World from Nina Mitchell

We may be interested in buying some Bluegreen points on a resale. We heard the whole presentation last week & were shocked at how much less the resale points were. However, we know you get a RCI membership & Interval International, but would we still have access to Hotels of the World?
Would that be part of the first time perks or would that be available to us buying resale points. This is important to us as we travel in Europe and when we looked at the RCI catalog there were not places in the cities we were looking. So, she also showed us a "Hotels of the World" catalog and that's what we could really benefit from. Is that included in anything on the resale market?

Nina,

I believe you are referring to the World Hotels option of Traveler Plus. You can use your points for such hotels if you are a Traveler Plus member. To become a Traveler Plus member, you must purchase your resale points from an authorized reseller.

RCI Yes, II No

However, we know you get a RCI membership & Interval International

Your BG Vacation Club Membership pays your RCI weeks membership fee. It does not pay for an II membership fee. If you join II, and if you pay the membership fee, a number of BG resorts will trade through II (I don't know which ones, however). I believe all of the BG resorts trade through RCI.
