How often for Owner Update?

I am going to be at Christmas Mountain at Thanksgiving, and I know they will call about the owner's update. I would like to hear about some of the changes from the BG people.

What is the time between attending owner updates? In the back of my mind, I remember something about 6 months. We will be at St. Augustine Fl in March, which will not be 6 months from the Thanksgiving trip. If it is 6 months between rule, I would rather do St. Augustine than Christmas Mountain. Last time, they offered only a $25 Mulligan’s (the resort restaurant) and $25 Applebee’s card, and the guy doing the update wasn't to thrilled to be working the holiday weekend, or he wasn’t thrilled with the DW who got into a chatty mode and wouldn’t listen to him.

Can someone refresh my overworked and tired mind?

At Christmas Mountain they told us 1 month but you an never trust the caller. When they call me at home, I always refuse. When they call me at the resort, they up the offer. Last time was $100.

Thank you very much. I think the update can be helpful (well, sometimes), but I don't want to do it at CMV, on a holiday when the questions may not be answered, and then loose the chance to see what information I can find out and what is available for update goodies in Fl.

We do them any time we are eligiable for the goodies.

We always get two $40 Walmarts and one $25 Appleybes .

It is pretty funny to see the look on the salespersons face when the rep who is doing the updates comes out with the stack of paper listing all of our ownerships and (I think) a list of our reservations.

They sometimes make a attemp for about 5 minutes to sell us then give up. Then we talk for about CMV and BG for about 10 or 20 mintues and then we are done and get gifted. They seem to handle us with kid gloves for some unexplainable reason.

Maybe one reason is because Boca and I are mentioned in the reservation training class and that information has seeped over to the BG. salespeople.

We were told that you can supposely do the BG updates every 6 months.
