Well I've tried, repeatedly to just sell it for what I owe on it, but haven't had any takers. I've sank so much money into it and have nothing to show except the one vacation I was able to take. It's frustrating! This isn't the first time I've tried to sell it off for what I owe, either, but I've never looked into any companies to sell it for me because I'm afraid of getting screwed.

I'm not sure I understand anything about selling, which is why I've only tried to sell for the fees I owe and do a transfer. Sounds like there are fees involved if I do a transfer. Any idea how I find out what those fees might be?

I do know that I have a point thing they don't even offer anymore (I wasn't sucked into "upgrading" when I did finally use it 2 years ago). I have 8,000 points and (1/2 renew annual, 1/2 renew biannual). I don't have any bonus time or other perks as most of those "extras" I got when I purchased, I didn't renew. All this thing has been is a financial burden and I'm sad to hear that it seems it won't be easy to get rid of it. It sounds like it will be hard to even sell it for what I owe in fees right now (which is roughly 2 years worth of fees, plus late fees).

      1) You were smart on avoiding selling companies that ask for upfront fees.

      2) I believe BG charges $450 to handle the sale of a BG Points Timeshare. You can log in to the BG web site and find the pages which give you the forms and fees.

      3) It appears that you upgraded with BG but did not renew "Traveler Plus". If I am correct in that you bought from BG, then you would indeed have unlimited Bonus Time at all BG resorts.
