When do people who rent out weeks usually cancel if a unit is not rented?
Is there a deadline like 15 days before check in that units open up?
I am going to South Fl in FEB and there is no availability so I was hoping maybe a last minute cancellation...
Is there a wait list with BG?

Are you only looking for Bluegreen resorts? Where & when in South Fl are you looking? Redweek has a few in Miami, plenty in Ft Lauderdale. Even some in Ft Myers.

Owners must cancel greater than 10-days in advance of check in in order to not lose the points in the reservation. So, there are a lot of cancellations between 10-14 days in advance of check in.

You can check online for bonus time. Anything less than 45-days from check in (48-days if you book online) is available for either points or bonus time. So, you can see it online if it is available.

Yes, there is a waitlist, but it is not effective for this type of reservation. The wait list is manual and is processed once per day. There could be cancellations through the day and rebookings happening before the waitlist even gets a shot at those reservations.

The waitlist is best for Gold and Silver owners who get on it at the 13 months and 12 months mark respectively to get hard to get locations for a full week stay.
