  • Bluegreen Resort Benefits

When I was at Christmas Mountain, we received a card which entitled us to a discount for the on site food, drink and buy locations.

I have been to nearly a half dozen Bluegreen resorts, some with souvenir shops or restaurants, some without. I don’t remember any of those offering any type of discounts or specials at the resort.

Does anyone know of other Bluegreen resorts, or resorts in the Bluegreen system that have discount specials. I like my discounts when I can get them.

I haven’t been outside the Bluegreen system, so I am not going to ask about the other resorts or resort systems.

When my wife and I were at Mountainloft in Gatlinburg this past September, they had a "Concierge" desk where you could buy tickets and/or make reservations for local theaters and attractions. Anything they sold had a discount applied compared to buying at the venue. We bought our tickets to the Aquarium there as well as made resrvations and paid for Fiddlers Feast. They also had a seperate activities desk that could set up tee times at local golf courses and even got a discount from a couple of them. I used that too.

We have also been to the Wilderness Club at Big Cedar for a bonus time weekend a year ago November. I think they had a similar service there for the shows in Branson, though I am not certain since we didn't take advantage of that.

I think they all have the Concierge (hope you spelled that right, cause I can't spell and just copied yours) desk. Discount tickets may be at an okay price, sometimes they are the same as other discounters.

I was looking for discounts for on site restaurants, etc. Maybe there are not enough resorts with 'on site' restaurants that BG doesn't do it as a company policy. Maybe it is hit and miss. Christmas Mountain wants owners to spend money on their restaurants rather than going into Wis. Dells where there are other places to eat, drink and spend money. That worked out really nice for us over Thanksgiving. I do like that place.

I do not know if they still have it, but... they used to have a VIP card that showed you wree an owner and it entitled you to discounts all over town in the Dells. We no longer can get the card, but it was good, not only discounts at christmas Mountain, but two for ones and percents off in town too.
