Resorts that allow Smoking

Hi! I'm a new member of this forum as well as Bluegreen. I noticed that a lot of resorts allow smoking in their rooms. I would love to go to Shenandoah Crossing, but my 2 year old really cannot tolerate smoke ....so I was wondering if anyone had experience with this? Do all resorts listed as smoking in villas offer any nonsmoking rooms?

Also, we are taking our first trip to Myrtle Beach at Seaglass Towers in June. I have read in other places that the parking is not safe.....does anyone have experience or suggestions?

I can speak of Christmas Mountain Village in Wis. They list smoking avail on the website, and the option of an ionizer for the unit. When we got there, we were told there is no smoking allowed and we would be subject to a $200 fine/charge if we did smoke in the unit. We don't smoke, and could not smell smoke in the room. Smoke free may be the way of the future for BG, or maybe limiting smoking to a room by room basis.

Smoking generally is not a problem but we did have one bad episode. I have never heard of any resorts having special non-smoking units. It looks like the newer resorts are banning smoking in all units.

We didn't see any problems with parking at SeaGlass last June.

If you go to Shendandoah Crossing you should get a cabin or an entire townhouse. We had a 2bd townhouse. Those in the adjoining side must have been there for a smoking vacation and shared every moment with us. The ionizer only made it smell stale.
