bg resale ???

Just got back from Vegas presentation and purchased sample pack! Been poking around this site, and have a few questions. Please excuse if they are redundant. We are new to ts ownership, and were really impressed with bg. We are somewhat familiar with rci, since parents own a couple of weeks. The whole point systems sounds much more interesting.
We were told that if we bought a resale then,
a. No future resorts would be accessible?

b. No charter/vip (silver/gold) benefits would pass thru?

Reading here it sounds like these things can happen. What is the proceedure?
Buy resale from auth agent?

Hi Rich,

Here are the quick answers to your questions.

a) false. The way the Bluegreen Vacation Club is set up, ALL owners get access to ALL Bluegreen Vacation Club resorts INDEPENDENTLY of how they acquire their points. That is likely to continue since this is how the Club is registered with the State of Florida. To change the rules would be very difficult.

b) Charter member benefits transfer if you sell them through an authorized reseller. Send me a PM for details.
