check in age

My 18 year old step son and a friend are going to stay at the Carolina Grand for a weekend in March. My husband is going down to check them in and to stay a night. The "kids" are going to arrive long before my husband, does anyone know if the front desk will let them in the unit?

Minimum age for check-in: 21
Check-in: 4 p.m.

I don't know if they will bend these rules. You might want to call the resort ahead of time.
