New points June... Maintenance due Oct ?

If a contract gets new points in June 2008 and the Maintenance fees are due in October 2008 then you are paying for the 2008 points... right?
Or maybe the 2009 points???
I am still confused.

Boca Jim could probably best explain this but the Bluegreen fiscal year runs from Oct to Oct. When you pay the maintenance fees in October 08 my understanding is that payment is for the 08-09 year as long as your points come before Oct 1, 09.

Close. The Bluegreen Vacation Club fiscal year is Nov 1 to Oct 31.

Nearly all points packages are billed around Oct 10 and are due by Nov 1 for the upcoming fiscal year. Maintenance fees are paid in advance.

So, the points you get in June 2008 had their maintenance fees paid last November.
