Has anyone ever sold a TS back to blugreen. I still owe money on the TS but I want to purchase with Wyndham instead. The guy at Wyndham said all I needed to do was submit a quit claim and bluegreen would be gone

That is not going to happen, unless you are close to be bankrupcy. Then BG may release you. Tell him you will do a Quit Claim to him, and he can Quit Claim to BG, and have him signed at the local court. See if he will do that
There are a lot people wants to get rid of their deed and can't.

Old Wives Tale - Quit Claim Deedback
If you reference the book "Institues of American Law" by John Bouvier, Page 397, Section 2030, you will read...
"No contract whatever can take place without the assent of the parties to it. When a deed is obtained by a Grantee, or any one else, from the Grantor, without his consent, it is clear that there is no delivery."
-----------------
"Delivery" in this context is the transfer of ownership rights and obligations.
This is a common "OLD WIVES MYTH" of timesharing, that you can just deed a timeshare back to the developer.
PS. Nothing special about a Quit Claim Deed either, any deed type would be equally meaningless without the recipient's consent.
However, the level to which Quit Claim Deeds are misunderstood in sometimes very dangerous ways could fill pages here.

Wyndham Weasel
Since you have now found out you cannot quit claim back to Bluegreen.....cancel that Wyndham purchase and get to know how to use Bluegreen and be happy with Bluegreen by asking questions on this forum and/or also join the bluegreen yahoo group. Why were you thinking of buying Wyndham instead of owning Bluegreen (and throwing away all the money you have paid to them on your mortgage for it)????? Also, my advice is to NEVER NEVER NEVER borrow money to buy a timeshare.

Deed it to me. I'll take it off your hands and take over maintanance fees. Couldnt take over any mortgage though. How many points are you talking about? Just curious is how much you owe. You can email me at wigginswade@yahoo.com

OP, follow the cancelation proceedure outlined in your paperwork EXACTLY to get out of the deal.
And I would send a letter to the companies president to let him know WHY you were canceling - his salesperson told you and out and out LIE.

Terrific. We will help you get the most out of your Bluegreen Timeshare.
Interestingly, there was a thread OY about the Suites at Hershey. Several people wanted to trade into that resort. I told them they should consider a direct trade with a Bluegreen owner. 3 people sent me private messages wanting to do just that. If you want Wyndham, just do a direct trade with a Wyndham owner.
