  • Encore rewards

I love Bluegreen but had a hard time paying mtnce fee. Over $1200 a
year. I know that there is the Encore rewards program that can help
but so far I have not been successful at having ANYONE follow
through with a tour. We have over 1000 people who work at our school
but I can not (would get fired) if I did a mass email for my personal
financial gain. I hesitate, but have reluctantly sent individual
emails referrals from BG. My question is: Is there a poster of some
kind that I could hang in teachers lounges on the bulletin Board that
would advertise the tour in which I would recieve encoure rewards if
they went? When I went on a different time share tour (Which I
didn't buy) They showed me a type of poster with a pull off tab that
had a code and a number for the discount vacation package. Thats
what I wan't to use for Bluegreen Encore rewards. Does it exist,
could I make one, how would I put a "code" on it so I would get
    credit?

Does anyone have success with encore rewards. How did you do it?

I'm motivated because $1200 is a lot of money. Especially the time
of year that it comes due. Thanks in advance for any advice,

Encore rewards works great. I find the best way to do it is to enter your referrals online in your Bluegreen account. Then, send them the email offer to the resort near where they live. They can then give Bluegreen a call at the number in the email, give them a promotion code that is included and set up a nice getaway. When they sign up, you can track them through the system online. Your encore reward points go right into your account.

Just make sure you discuss it with your referral guest before you send them an offer so that they actually know its really coming from you. That will increase the likelihood that they actually go.

Some companies have internal intranets where employees can post offers for various things. That's a good place to post a message for anyone interested. I know one person who got 5 years free maintenance fees by doing that one thing.

    Good luck.

Does the state of residence really matter? I just purchased through BG and was told I could pay my dues with referrals but looking at the fine print on the referral form it says they must be residents of an approved state. I live in Massachusetts and most of the people I know to refer live in MA too. If I can't refer people I know, I wish someone had told me that.

I was also advised by my sales person that many owners just use the phone book? Is this true, does it work? Does "Personally known" really matter?

If it is limited by state, does anyone know why? I was sold my 3 day 2 night vacation by a guy at Bass Pro in MA.

I'm learning so many new things I'm starting to wonder if I should just cancel the whole thing. I'm still within the 10 days.

If you bought directly from BlueGreen and paid many thousands of dollars then YES you SHOULD rescind! Then come back here and buy a resale package for at least 2/3 less!

As far as Encore rewards goes... I just hit up family... asked them to do it as a favor. They got a weekend trip out of it and I got the $50. It doesn't come close to paying all my fees, but it's a nice little extra money at the time.

Do they still offer the credit card that gives Encore Rewards?

I was planning to hit up family, friends, and coworkers for referrals, but if I can't refer people who live in MA that cuts out about 80-90% of my potential referrals.

I'm thinking of rescinding. We don't really have the money to do it comfortably, it was going to be tight for awhile. We got sold on those "first time" benefits that are dubbed as being, today or never. It seemed like a good deal.

I just signed up for the Encore Credit Card. We are still trying to figure it out if it is worth the savings compared to discover card or our BP (British Petroleum- gas) card. 2 Encore points per 1.00 spent at Bluegreen and 1 point per dollar for other purchases. I am still working on my referrals too. Also contemplating renting out our points to friends and family to help offset the MF.
