Has anyone stayed at Odyssey Dells? There are (still) no pics of it on the website. We're headed to Wisconsin Dells and were going to stay at CMV but Oddessy has a few extra nights we can pick up on bonus time. Any advice on this one?

Hmmmm, have u tried trip advisor for reviews?
Just remember they are usually written by 'non-TS' people so ignore the complaints about 'lack of daily maid and room service'

stayed on bonus time
We did stay for a weekend this fall on bonus time. Overall, if we wanted to do a water park again, we would go there--especially at bonus time rates.
You do have to pay extra for the amusement park portion of Mt. Olympus, but when we went 4 tickets to the water park were included with the stay.
However, there were a few things we found disappointing compared to other 2 bedroom bluegreen units.
If you go I would request a non-handicap accessible room, if at all possible. We were in a handicap accessible unit, and because of the extra corridor widths and turning radius in the bathrooms the living room area was somewhat cramped. (We had the opportunity to look in another unit, so could compare sizing.
The kitchen area is small-if I'm remembering correctly it has a combo microwave/convection oven and a flat top stove.
The smaller bedroom doesn't have a full height wall between it and the living room--which made it hard for the people who wanted to sleep, because the light and noise passed between the two rooms.
I hope you have a wonderful time, whatever you decide to do.

I had reservations there but they did confirm kitchenette and laundry in common area. With 3 kids--I think I'll stick to CMV with laundry in unit and full kitchen, although I'm sure it's nice at Odyssey Dells. I'd be interested to know what it looks like--maybe I'll go check it out while I'm there. Why does Bluegreen have no pics? I think it's still under construction some.

Thanks for the tips on this property.

Hi,
Just a couple additions to Rudy's excellent summary. We stayed in the non-handicap 2 bedroom. The main difference is the non-handicap has a full refrigerator vs a half for the handicap. The handicap also has a queen bed in each bedroom vs a King and Queen in the non handicap room. Either way, the units have the same square footage around 500 sq ft. A nice upgrade is the flat panel tv's in both bedrooms.
As Rudy mentioned the wall of the second bedroom doesn't reach the ceiling.(about 2 foot gap). This makes the second bedroom very noisy when people are talking or watching tv in the living room/kitchen. The layout of these rooms is from the previous company. Bluegreen just renovated the rooms with paint/carpet, etc but didn't change the structure. Rumor has it that Bluegreen is trying to also purchase the Captain's Quarter's Suites and renovate those as well to have more inventory. The Captain's Quarters Suites are essentially in the same building and have the same layout as the Odyssey rooms. Each room has a nice balcony with a small table and a couple chairs.
They recently added the amusement park pass along with the indoor waterpark wristband. So you get 4 passes for both attractions for each 2 bedroom reservation. The waterpark is starting to need an upgrade to keep up with some of the newer indoor waterparks in the dells but it will keep most kids busy for a couple days. The amusement park is has about 6 rides that are ok.
We had a good time but a couple days was enough for my wife and I and four young daughters.
Good luck!

We were at CMV last November. We were told that there is a section of land that was for development of more BG units. Right now, much of the property is still under the partner's ownership. I believe that more BG units are required to be able to sell units or ownership or deeds.
Although I have never been in the water park, I could be ‘all wet’ on this. Oh I do amuse myself, usually only myself.Don
