The one bedroom townhouse units at CMV are well laid out and should be room enough for 3.

Thank you CRWISCONSIN. I am not a BG owner, I traded a 2-bedroom Orlando to go to Christmas Mountain for New Years - we were interested in something closer. However, we do ski up at Boyne on weekends which is very nice too. Orlando was our first purchase, and we are trying to learn how to make the best of it. We bought before we knew about these wonderful forums. Eventually, we would like to sell and perhaps get into the BG system.

Oh, now THAT'S funny! We're going to have to remember that game. The Wisconsin State Patrol, I think, counts cars with Minnesota license plates, so turning it back on them is all fair play.

I just added another "Bluegreen Trip" for this year. We are staying in a one bedroom Yurt at Shendoah Crossing in August. It should be quite a new experience and I will post a report when we get back. We were always campers until we got a little too old for the tents and cots....these new Yurts look like "classy camping"!

Would love to hear from some of the rest of you and the trips you are taking this year.

Please let us know how it works out. If you can take pictures, that would be even better.

My wife and I keep laughing because we don't know what a yurt is and we are dying to see one.

                I keep thinking YogURT

I saw pictures in one of the recent BG magazines. Looked like a hut, but I didn't look into it too hard.

Jim, I will take lots of pictures, but I am not very good at putting them on line. I will try to get good at it before August,so I can send them out on the forums. The pictures in the latest "Colorful Places Magazine" show the outside and inside. Also if you go to Bluegreen Online and pull up Shenendoah it will give pictures and layouts of the one and two bedroom Yurt. I think they are located in their new wilderness section. It should be fun!

My husband and I recently visited the preview center in the Smokies. They had a yurt set up there for viewing. It was really neat. If I hadn't known better I would think it was a cabin, hard wood floors, nice kitchens, nice bathrooms....It was like a round cabin!

We will be going to Shore Crest II next week and to Mountainloft in July. We spent couple of days at Big Cedar the first weekend in May.
To the person who was wondering about the Sunshine Resort. My boys and I stayed there for a few days in December and like it. The resort is on the International Drive trolley line which is nice and near some of the outlet malls and Universal Studios.
Thanks to my sister, we own a leg lamp.

We will be in a 3 bedroom in Villa unit 13 at CMV starting Friday May 23.

We have a number of other weeks reserved at CMV for this year so we may be up there a few times depending on rentas.

But we had exchanges for at least one week per month from May through Jauary 2009. The only Bluegreen reservations are for CMV at this time.

Was just able to get reservations at Via Roma on Anna Marie Island. I was wondering if any of you have stayed there and would have some reviews on your stay and also some ideas for restaurants & activities in the area. This is our first time at the resort and in that area of Florida. Hope to hear from some of you.

I can't help you with the resort, but the area is small and quiet near Anna Marie Island, some shops and restaurants. It is near Longboat Key. The beaches in Anna Marie Island are beautiful, white sand and turquoise water. Not a whole lot to do, so you will need a car if you want to go into Sarasota or anywhere else. I think the beaches all throughout that area are the most beautiful in Florida.
Down the road in Longboat Key is St. Armand's Circle with lot's of boutiques and some good restaurants. I like Columbia's, good Cuban food. There is also a little Italian place in a plaza on Longboat Key which is very good and reasonable. I'm sorry, I can't think of the name of the place, but someone in the area should be able to tell you.

There is the Pelican Man's, which has rescued pelicans and other birds in sort of a zoo like setting. There is Mote Aquarium also. Small aquarium but nice.

Lido Key and Siesta Key beaches are not that far from there and are also very beautiful.

We've gone into Tampa from there and went to the Lowry Zoo which is a great zoo. You could feed the giraffes and lorikeets. It's not huge and definitely can do in a couple of hours.

If you do a search on this site for Longboat Key, you should be able to pick up some other things to do while there along with some more restaurant recommendations.

Stayed at Via roma about 3 years ago. Nice resort. Great location. The beach is good but if your driving, head south past Cocina Beach and go over the bridge into Longboat key . Make your first right. It is called beercan beach. Beautiful and quiet. When you come out, go straight. Peacocks are abundant and live along the street with homeowners.
There is a must restaurant- The Sandbar. It is on Anna Maria Island north of Via Roma. Go there at sunset. Enjoy your trip.
If you want to relax you must try kayaking. Very comfortable, no gas noise or smell and you might see a manatee.
