  • General Question

Does anyone know the biggest say top 5 (or 10)timeshare companies? Is Bluegreen in the top 5? I was just purely curious. I see lots of Wyndam and Fairfield so I'm guessing they're big. Disney doesn't seem that big. When I say "big" I mean large in number of resorts or owners--either one I guess.

I Googled the question and just got a ton of timeshare companies sales ads. It's my silly question for the week

Probably not top 5 if based on sales and number of members. I know in US, the public trading company, BG is #4, the top 3 is Wyndham, Marriott, and Starwood. Before Hilton was purchased by private investor, it just a little bit bigger than BG. And I believe Diamond is around the same size in membership as Wyndham and Marriott. Don't know OLCC's situation, since they don't need to file report to SEC as a private invest company.

But I believe they are in top 10.

Don't forget the Berkley Group, with about 60 resorts, at least 2 management companies, Daily Management and Tricom Management, and an exchange company, Platinum Interchange. Berkley is privately held, so there is not a whole lot of information available, but they have to be a major company.
