Realistic Expectations

Ok, so I am new and trying to figure out what we could expect from the program.

I have one son in school and another that will start in two years. That means for the next 15 years, we will be traveling the busy summer seasons. What I am hoping for is one nice 4-5 night vacation during the summer. So if I plan a vacation 11 months ahead can I realistically expect to get a two bedroom condo at a nicer resort in June, July or August?

PS-I have only been to Harbor Lights in the sampler program and am heading to Big Cedar Lodge in Sept. so also any thoughts on some of the nicer resorts for young children would be welcome.

Just a comment about a place for children, the mouse house (Disney) is close to the Fountains in Orlando. I have heard that children like that place. Things like the Magic Kingdom seems to attract the younger ones, and there are other parks that work for the little bit older ones too.

Review the BG website for their suggestions, beach, mountains, etc. Each resort will list some of the nearby attractions.

I don't have kids, so can't speak of this will or won't work. Just offering suggestions.

I think BG, overall, is a pretty good outfit, has nice resorts, and will offer lots of good vacations.

You will definitely be able to get summer vacations if you book far enough in advance.

I have 3 kids and they like to go wherever we go. My kids love Orlando, Big Cedar and the Smokey Mountains. I knew they would love Christmas Mountain Village in the Dells. The Suites at Hershey is a can't miss.

Definitely! The Fountains always has availability it seems. I just booked a last minute trip to Via Roma which I would have never thought possible.
