Need a few points

I think I am 75 points short for what I need to make the reservation for our annual trip to Big Cedar. We always go the first week of June, so I'll be calling on July 1st to make next year's reservation. My question is, is there an easy and fairly economical way to get the 75 points I'm short? I don't want to get my next batch of points early since I only need so few now. Any suggestions?

If you have Traveler Plus, you can rent them directly from Bluegreen for $.15/point. That's a good use of that program.

You can't transfer points from one owner to another. Your best bet is to borrow points from your next anniversary date. When is your next anniversary? If it is July, Aug, Sept or Oct, then you can borrow without having to pre-pay.

I found out yesterday that the whole lot of points gets dumped to you when you do this. No big deal, but in my mind I thought I would borrow XX points for the next reservation and the rest would become available on the annv. date. Nope, you get them all at once.

My next anniversary date is February, 2010. I have an EOY package so I don't get new points for quite awhile. Can I get them this early? If so, does getting them early affect when they turn into saved points?

I just looked at the Bluegreen website and it's only $39 dollars to renew my Traveler's Plus membership, so I think I'm going to do that. I was thinking it was alot more expensive than that. Although, when I looked at all of the benefits listed on the website for Traveler's Plus, it didn't mention being able to rent points. Maybe that's just one they didn't have listed?

It's on the Traveler Plus website which you get access to when you are a member. You cannot borrow points until Feb 2, 2009. It will NOT effect when points turned to saved points. YOu just get them early. You will need to prepay 2010 maintenance fees next Feb. It sounds like you need more points. LOL.
