Resale & Maintenance Fees/Club Dues

I know this has been asked before but I just wanted the most current information.

If points are purchased non qualified resale and added to my existing account, will I have to pay club dues twice? Also, if they are from the same trust fund, will I have to pay $290 twice as well?

You will not have to pay double annual dues unless you do not link the accounts together properly. In addition, occasionally, Bluegreen will charge you double annual dues the first year if the anniversary date occurs during the closing interval.

If you own points in the same trust and they are linked properly, you will not have to pay more than 1 base fee of $290.

Thank you Jim. How do I know if the accounts are linked properly? If the points all show up on my online account, can I assume they are linked properly?
