How do I exchange a BG reservation for RCI Points?

Hi! We are relatively new to BlueGreen. We have an RCI Weeks membership. Is there any way to exchange a BG reservation for RCI Points?

Also, does anyone have information on a Blended UDI? We have BG points and access to a UDI at CMV.

You would have to be RCI Points (Not Weeks) owner and do points for deposit. You should get alot of help here about UDI's

WOW! You said you have access to a blended UDI at Christmas Mountain. I assume that means that you own it? Is it a cottage or a timbers?

I would be happy to explain what I know about it to you, although Bruce on this board is the King of BG CMV UDIs!

Since you have a blended UDI, it would mean that you also own points in the Bluegreen Vacation Club, but that you don't have to pay separate maintenance fees on those points. So, you could most definitely make a reservation with either your UDI or with your points and you could most definitely exchange it for a week through your RCI Weeks membership.

You could also exchange it into RCI Points if you had ownership at an RCI Points resort, but you mentioned having an RCI Weeks membership so unlike a previous answer, you can indeed use your weeks reserved with your UDI or with your points as an exchange with RCI Weeks.

thanks for the help. I have another question. BG explained to us that we can reserve another week once the check in day arrives. Can we try to book another unit for the next day?

The funny thing is that we purchased 2 years ago from ebay, but we didn't know that we had UDI until 2 weeks ago. We thought we were just buying points!

This August will be our first trip to CMV since we purchased.

Yes, you can book another "same type" of week at CMV on check-in day, based on availability of your exact type of unit. But that is ONLY with the white UDI weeks. Your points do NOT work that way.

At least you are aware of this now...................no one else must have realized it was a UDI either or else someone else (Bruce, are you reading this?.....but maybe you have talked to Bruce since you used the word "blended"---although perhaps that is Bluegreen terminology) would have snatched it up.

By the way, if a whole week is not available but a partial week is, then you can book just a partial week with one of your UDI weeks..................although you don't get to use the rest of the week some other time......you are still using your FULL week but just reserving part of a week.
