Do you know if there is any way to convert it for less? Another BG member suggested we just buy it and rent it to cover maintenance fees when we don't want to use it. What's the probability of being able to rent it at this time of the year? Thanks in advance for your help.
It might be better to look around for a different deal unless you want to use this week exclusively. The way I understand it, owning points is what makes BG so flexible - so look around on this site and others for resale deals that are already in points.
13,000 BG points can be had for significantly less then the price u r getting from member services.

and I own at Grand Vista, too!

      Will keep looking

      Thanks Pat,
You've helped us to decide to keep looking. We don't see ourselves going to the same unit every year.
We love our Grande Vista timeshare because it's an every other year 3 BR lockoff that we deposit into II and use every year by reserving through flex time. Maybe we'll meet you there sometime!

Need bonus time at Big Cedar-just bought resale

        Hi there,

I was referred to this group by the owner who we are purchasing from. The details are: we have completed the purchase of 13000 points by way of resale and used PCS title. The paperwork is now, as I understand, being sent to bluegreen for completion. The owner said we would have bonus time at Big Cedar because we are deeded there. Now I am thinking this isn't true? We need bonus time for sure! Can you clarify?

If you are deeded at Big Cedar, you will have bonus time there. You can tell since the online system will allow you to book it there.

                      Living & Learning

                      Hello Timesharer's,
Well we just sent my parents to their (snowbird, fixer-upper) in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Our hope is to contribute to that home as we can. So when Mary- my wife- gets home I will tell her what I've done...(joined the forum, told the guy from "Timeshares by Owner", that we'll pass on his offer to sell our BG property for the up front cost of $900.00), even if he said he would get us $26,000 by the end of Feb.
This site looks like it has lots of info and resources to sell our TS the best way. Any advice will be welcome. I'll tell Mary, so she can have a look around this site and then we can move forward. thanks Mark

                        sell Bluegreen points

Hi, Jim. We are interested in selling our Bluegreen points. I've visited your resale site and completed the form twice, but I never got a response. What is the best way for us to proceed with selling? I appreciate any help you can offer.

                          need to sell bluegreen ownership

I have a 15K BG membership and am looking to sell/give away. I was using it every year but now have not been able to use it for almost 6 years... want to just give it away basically to someone who will pay the annual taxes (about 500) this year billed. It is paid off. I have a few people interested, that will take it and love it again like I did when I could travel. Is there a big fee associated with titel transfer? what do I do to change the title/essentially give it to another family member who will use it with her kids??? please help

I heard that bonus time rates have changed for Bluegreen resorts. Do you know the new rates?
