We enjoy Daytona Seabreeze frequently because it is close to us and we love the beach, I believe all of the units are oceanfront with at least one balcony and my wife loves the grassy area with the fire pit and tiki torches at night. We like the Solara Surfside (Southbeach)also, but only a few are oceanfront. We just went to Seaglass Tower in June and loved it there, we were lucky and did get an ocean front 1Bdr. Parking there is not the greatest but it wasn't terrible and that is just how Myrtle Beach is. I am going to The Hammocks at Marathon for the second time for a scuba trip with the guys, my wife still hasn't been there but she would love it, it's kind of amazing I am getting away with this again!

      Bgwc @ big cedar

bg wilderness club at big cedar is the resort by which I judge all others. The resort is fabulous. The shuttle service is nice too. Branson was a good location to take my children 3, and 8. They both rode festus, the horse at the riding stable. I spent days in awe just walking around the campus. We rented a bassboat and fished for several hours. Very nice boat.

We just got back from shoreline towers gulf shores Alabama. The rooms are Huge. A little dated, and no resort atmoshere. If you just want lots of room for the family to spread out and a beach then shoreline towers is for you. I thought it was a good deal for two bed rooms 2 baths and pullout 1450 sq feet with ocean view.

Even still so far big cedar has my vote.

        BG Big 3:

The best resorts in the Bluegreen system (in no particular order):

Solara, Big Cedar (have you seen the lux 5 bdrm 3500 sqf houses they have on offer now, costs 54000 pts/week) and Lodge Alley Inn.

Honorable mentions to Marathon, Hershey, Hawaii, Aruba (we're going there Feb 2009), Daytona Beach presidential suites, St Augustine, and very recently Atlantic City where you get beach and six flags in one (not many places can say that, not even Orlando). I am sure Orlando and Vegas are 5-star, but I can't get excited about those 2.
