  • Mountain Loft Take Ear Plugs and Don't Call Maintance

We were at Mountain Loft last week and I have to say the Villas are terrible for noise. You hear most of what your neighbors are doing. The noise comes through the walls like you wouldn't believe. It was not the fault of the people in the other rooms it is the none insulated walls. At night it became a real problem for sleeping.

When we got there the toilet seat was broken, one of the screen door to the patio was off the track, and the microwave didn't work. They came to replace the toilet seat and put the door back on the track. When they fixed the door they fixed it so it wouldn't open. So I guess they figures they fixed the problem. The microwave was never fixed. I called several time and they said they would sent someone to fix it. I finally on the last day I called BG.

I do like the resort and would go back if I could get a townhome.

Sorry to hear about your disappointing stay. We've been looking so forward to staying at this resort but have heard that the walls in the villas seem to be "paper" thin. I try to always fill out the comment cards at every resort we stay so maybe....just maybe....someone of consequence might hear my own thoughts on what our experience was like.....just in the event that that person of consequence wasn't monitoring this board. And I hope they listen!

      Mountain Loft

Sorry to hear about the problems at the resort. Last year I took my son and one of his friends up for a week, and we stayed in one of the chalets at Mountain Loft. It was great - try and get one of those if you can. The only problem we had was that we went early in the spring, and the fertilizer they were spreading smelled pretty bad! When we walked to the car, we walked quickly!

I think I will be going back to ML again sometime and I will definitely ask for a townhouse. It is a nice resort it is just to bad about the paper thin walls in the villas.

I've stayed in townhouse at Mountainloft twice now. We like it. Since there is only one neighbor, it is quieter. I'll keep in mind your advice about the villas.
Thanks to my sister, we own a leg lamp.

When we were at MtLoft in April - our first BG experience, I didn't notice any noise.

What building were you in and what floor were you on? We were in building #9 and on the second floor.

We were on the 5th floor - Bldg 9 Maybe... It was the building furthest away.
