I'm confused. I got a bill to renew my RCI membership. Isn't that part of what I pay Bluegreen? I thought it was built into our dues or something. If I had a choice--I don't think I'd join it anyway. But, I thought it wasn't really an option that we had to be a part of it and that it was part of our dues.

RCI is included as part of your annual dues in Bluegreen. RCI must think you have another ownership with them as well. What I would do is contact Bluegreen owner services and have them take care of it. It may be difficult, but Bluegreen should be covering your RCI dues. -
If you had an RCI account prior to buying Bluegreen, and you gave Bluegreen that account number, then Bluegreen basically hijacked that account. They did that with mine, but of course I still pay the same dues to Bluegreen, and I'm sure I'll get a renewal from RCI when the dues I paid to them are about to expire.
My RCI account is based on another timeshare, fixed week, that I own.Comment
