I just thought of something else in the "Could-Be-Improved" category. When we book a unit, we are always told that we are allowed just one car per unit. That's fine if the unit sleeps four people, but what if you have a bigger unit, and there are eight people coming? You can't fit all those people in just one car.

If there's a one-car-per-unit policy, then I would like information up front about where we can park additional cars instead of having to worry about it. It puts an unnecessary stress on the vacation planning.

Also, regarding the sales pressure -- If you have an owner booking fewer than four nights, lay off the whole "update" thing. I have just a little time to spend at the resort, and I don't want to take it up with an owner update or fending off calls urging me to show up for one. I'm always afraid to answer my room phone at BG resorts for that reason.

      Bluegreen Annual Meeting

      1) The Good. What do you like most about the Club? What differentiates Bluegreen and what should they keep doing?

The point system is great the reservsation system is great. The ability to book less than a full week. The Traveler Plus program great.

      2) The Bad. What would you like to see changed in the Club?

The older resorts need to make repairs.

You should be able to search for what is avalible at any resort for any given timeframe. It would be great if you could make your reservation online also.

Have Internet access in the rooms.

      3) The Ugly. What really needs to change fast about the Club?

The web site should have avalible all of the reservations an owner has made with all of the information about that reservation including Bounes time and point or week reservations.

The sales staff needs to be more knowlegeable about how the system works when someone has bought from pinnicale or anouther resaler.

A guest or owner should be able to visit the model villas to see what they look like and not be hounded to set though the sales pitch especially when you are there for a short time (3 days or less) or you just sat though an update a few weeks earlier. (When I went to Shanandoha Crossings a few weeks ago I just wanted to see a Yert so I talked to the front desk and was told that i would need to see the sales office. I called them and was signed up for a owner update what a waste of time since i was at mountainloft two weeks earlier and had an update at that location.)

Here is what I'd like to get from you:

The good: bonus time, reservations for less then a week
The bad: no email confirmation letters
        the ugly: DRI?

You can let them know that I am disappointed that we lost the early check in.

In most cases, when we fly, we end up at the resort early afternoon. Now we have to kill several hours before we can check in. We are driving to CMV in Oct for a Fri-Sun. Again, really need to time our drive plan to get there when they will allow us in and since we have so limited time, a couple hours earlier check in there would have been nice.

Not necessarily--if your unit is ready, they will let you in early.........some places may even have a secure holding area for your luggage until your room is ready. Some have a changing place you can go to be able to don your bathing suit and use the pool while waiting.

This is one reason, however, that sometimes, I reserve an extra night before or after our actual desired time. Most people won't have the luxury of being able to do that as they don't have alot of points. But if your check-in date is the day before your actual arrival, if you arrive in the middle of the night or in late morning, you can then check-in as soon as you arrive. and/or the same is true of departure..............you have an evening departure to return home...........if you have an extra night reserved then you can stay in your unit as long as you want to that day.

even with the perk of early check-in, it was NOT guaranteed and even if it was a resort that didn't have early check-ins and/or you were not preferred and had that benefit, you could sometimes still get early check-in........so it's really no different now that it was before, how I see it. eXCEPT that preferred owners knew to ask for it or it gave them "permission" to ask for it. many times, it has been offered to us at lots of different resorts/motels, etc.
