Converting CMV UDI to points

If one were to convert a pure CMV cottage (not timbers) UDI to a "blended" UDI (as Bruce calls them), how many BG points would one get?

I believe you will only get 9000 points. But, you get to keep many of your UDI benefits. You will get 9000 points for use like any other Bluegreen points. In addition, I believe you will still get 2 blue or white weeks to book. And your 45-day reservation becomes a 90-day reservation. We need to check with Bruce when he returns.

You cannot convert it at any resort. If it's still possible to convert, then you must do it directly with Christmas Mountain Village as Bluegreen will not take it in as equity trade in.

I think they should make it 24k points since each UDI is deeded as 3 weeks. Since it is worth only 9000 points, I wouldn't do it.

I forgot to mention, you still pay your full UDI maintenance fees and housekeeping fees.

BB, one additional comment, when CMV tried to convince me to convert my "Pure UDI Cottage" last summer, it required an additional BG points purchase. I don't think they will just change it over to 9000 points without selling you more points.

In addition to your maintenance fees and housekeeping fees on the UDI reservations you also have to pay BG club dues. I also seem to remember that you have to pay one housekeeping fee along with the yearly BG club dues for the points reservation.
