Question about a reservation

Hello everyone,

I'm a new Bluegreen owner since August 31 2007. I have bought 10000 annual points. My anniversary date is then September 1st.

I'm interested to book a week in La Cabana for Oct11-Oct18 2009. I plan to book this 11 months in advance. The cost will be 6000 points for a 1 bedroom. This will be in the red season for this resort. It's the only travel I'm planning to make until Oct 2009.

Will I be able to book this on November 11 2008? with no problem?

I assume you still have at least 6000 points in your account. If so, then the only problem I can see is availability. If Bluegreen has X units available for that exact week with that exact check-in date, and X people call before you or are on the wait list, then there won't be any availability. If (X - Y) people call before you or are on the wait list, then there will be no problem if Y is 1 or larger.

By the way, thank you for laying out all of the necessary information in such a clear fashion. You gave all of the needed information except the values for X and Y which we will never know since X and Y continually change.

Hi,
Check out lacabana website for additional info on the Resort

Also check out the refurb part of that site and then when you make your reservation ask for one of the refurb rooms.
There is a resort plan which gives you the unit numbers and when they are going to be refurb. so you will be able to work out which unit to ask for. Another tip is all even numbers have a pool view all odd numbers have garden view.

I have a 2BR at La Cabana up for rent. The week is7/25/2009 - 8/1/2009 if interested. That way you can keep your points.

I would like to thank everyone for the info I requested.

I am booked as I wanted Oct10-17 2009 for a 1 bedroom suite. I can't wait to go Aruba. It was always a dream for me.

I don't think I'm going to have the new units, but it doesn't matter. There are plenty of nice things that need to be done in Aruba. I'll do a prediction, a lot of beach time
