    Shenandoh Crossing

Honest guys, July 2007 we were there and they offered free horseback riding-the stables are right on the premises and we took advantage of it. Owners were free and guests was like 15.00. for an hour ride. We were there in February 2006 and they offered competency riding verification sessions so you could take a horse out on your own on the trails around the resort. Now if the economy has changed and they may have changed that.
My kids get a kick out of riding when we vacation. We rode out in Las Vegas at Red Rock Canyon, Wyoming when we stayed at Big Skye, and Missouri, and in VA. We tried to ride in Alaska but they had a 16 yr old minimum and we had to pass.

        So far:
1 week in Feb - Sedona Summit (II getaway)
1 week end of Nov - Marriot Grande Vista in Orlando (accomodation cert for exchanging Christmas week in Tahiti Village, Las Vegas)
Next year - Marriott's village d'ile de France near Disneyland Paris (our 2009 exchange, using in 2010)

WE ARE LOVING Timeshare vacationing and we just started!!! We've spent a little more than $1000 (not including timeshare monthly bill) for all of these vacations, plus we have air miles to get to Orlando! So MUCH cheaper than taking a regular vacation - very worth the amount (over time) of our timeshare - even if we did pay too much as some seem to think - no use crying over spilt milk - I'm going to enjoy myself!!

          Hi,

Were new to timeshares, but hope we made some good choices for trips with the family. We have been to Wisc. Dells already this year. Next will be Wyndham Cypress Palms for Spring Break. Then Wyndham Grand Desert for me and the hubby in May. Then out to Wyndham Governor's Green in July and then back to Orlando at Star Island for Christmas. Any place you can think of that would be great for a 14 year old and two 6 year olds?

            2009 travel

We are going to Charleston SC- Lodge Ally in March over spring break- our first time to this area. Our 16 yr old picked it out from the BG book. We want to do some Plantation tours and wander the city. I also understand there is a Tea Farm now owned by Bigalow?? Any do's and do not's... suggestions are welcomed.
In April we are taking a long weekend to Boyne Mountain. Since we live 60 miles SW from Chicago, we want to check out MI for inland lakes and what Boyne area has to offer for non-skiers. One of my travel dreams is to go to Macinaw Isl..So we are doing an exploring trip. I saw a thread on Boyne, that was helpful!
In May we will be at Big Cedar with our 20 yr old son who looks forward to this trip. He brings his fishing buddy and they drive down on their own and stay in a studio- live on their own schedule. This year we''ll have a Cabin and some other family joining us hopefully. We have a boat that we bought up near Springfield-Sport Boat USA last year. So with gas prices down from last year, we'll do more exploriing on the water than last year. My husband is looking for fishing spots if any one has any tips??? That water was so high last year I hope things are back to normal.
We are hoping to go to Door County in the fall- Select Connection spot. Was there last year- very nice accomidations.
We may try to pull off a trip over Christmas too, but we'll see how the $ goes and what is left for reservations by the time we decide.
Minnie482...For a family, Shenahdoah Crossing has history sites, rural country farm setting with Horseback riding, swimming, fishing, canoeing, and wine tasting fun. It is about 12 hour ride from Chicago area- long day's ride if the family is ok in the car like that.

New Website to List Rentals & Sales for Free

My SXM Timeshare owners wanted a way to rent or sell thier units so I started this website and have expanded it's availability to all timeshare owners. Go to (link removed)Best Timeshare Rentals By Owner[/url] and list your unit or see the available rentals and sales. We just started so the list is short, I expect it to grow very quickly.

              Thanks

We booked CMV in April for some friends who can't afford a vacation because of medical bills and employment concerns. For a Sun-Wed stay, they get a two-bedroom villa, and it's only costing us 1,900 points that we needed to use anyway.

Later in April, we're going to Falls Village in Branson. We've never been to that area, so we're looking forward to it.

In December we'll be at the Suites of Hershey. We have family in Pennsylvania, so this place is "our apartment" when we're visiting everyone.

We have a bunch of points left. We'll probably end up at CMV in November just to rest and relax. There's not a lot going on in Wisconsin Dells at that time, but the indoor waterparks are always open!

                  Marathon

I will be at Marathon Key from May 2 - 9.

I would love to meet up with other Bluegreen owners and share their experiences about the different properties they have been to.

Please let me know if you will be there as well
