Ormond Beach Casa Del Mar

Any BlueGreen Owners ever stay in Ormond Beach at the Casa Del Mar? Looking to go there in April? Anything would be great...

We stayed there last April. The resort is old, and it shows its wear. It was our first experience staying at a BG resort, and it was fine enough. It is the lowest level of resort, so don't expect the ritz. The views were fantastic, right on the ocean. The pool was adequate. We had a good time there, and would go back. Some people might not say the same thing, but we aren't terribly picky when it comes to a room to stay in. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Have a great time!

Casa Del Mar Daytona

We stayed there 6/08 and it was older. Apparently Bluegreen was taking over the entire building 1 floor at a time. They were doing renovations on the top floors, so we did not get to see what the finished product was like. The staff was great. The pool was closed twice during the week for cleaning but we were able to go to the other BG properties to use there pool. Something you could not do in a regular hotel. That alone is worth the price of ownership.
