  • Tell Me About Falls Village In Branson, MO ...

Just booked a one-bedroom unit there. Other than the fact that they don't have elevators, is there anything I should know? Did you have a good stay there?

    Falls Village

We're staying in the 1 bedroom this weekend. It's very roomy with fresh decor. Most of the units have either just been remodelled or will be shortly. Units are either walk in or up 20 steps or down 20 steps.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They called our first morning there just to see if everything was all right. This was our second trip to the Falls this year and it is great.

Many of the Branson shows are closed right now, but we still found selections. Restaurants are very limited hours if they are open. Regardless, it has been a great stay and we will come many more times.

Many of the shows and restaurants will reopen in March.

      Falls Village

We were there last August. We enjoyed the resort. They had lots of activities for the kids that we participated in. The outdoor pool was big. We will go there again. The two bedroom was extremely spacious and was in one of the newer buildings.

The two times we've been there have been decent stays. Both time we were exchangers and were put in the oldest buildings. They had been reasonably well maintained. Not the highest quality furnishings or beds but were adaquate. Nice grounds, decent outdoor pool, fare mini golf course but nothing special IMO.

It's not my first pick for a Branson resort but it's closer to the top than the middle. When I get home I'll post a link to my Webshots photo album of our unit and the resort grounds. Keep in mind that this resort has recently built several new units since our last stay and we were in one of the oldest buildings on the property. I would imagine that the newer units would be much nicer and might cause me to rank the resort higher if they'd have put us in one of them.

Here's a direct link to our Webshots photo album from Fall Village. Again we were in one of the oldest buildings on the property. While it was decent, I'm sure the newer buildings are nicer. All you should have to do is click the picture below to go to the album.

Thanks, Doug, your pictures really help give me a sense of the place. THANK YOU! Even if we're booked into one of the older buildings, it looks like we'll be plenty comfortable.

We're going the third week in April, so I'm sure Branson will be hopping by then. I can't wait!

If you golf, fish, wanna go for a boat ride, let me know.

I likely could show you an upper middle average sorta time.

Thanks Doug. I've driven past that one several times, and it appears to be nicer than I thought.

I've stayed at the Fairfield Falls (now Wyndham) right across the street and I'd put it at least a notch or two above the Fairfield resort. The Fairfield Falls is the weakest of the 3 Fairfields in Branson.

Hey Ace, do you still own a summer week at BYC?

Someone was asking about trading power with RCI, cuz our summer week does so well. Just wndering about other good Branson resorts, especially a lake resort peak summer.

                    I referred them to you.

April is still relatively slow season. Most of the shows, businesses and parks are open by then but tourist season really doesn't get to going until the end of May. We've gone the last week of April most years because the crowds are still pretty lite. Be aware that, this time of year, weather can be iffy. Most years it's been very pleasant but, it can be rainy and cold as well.

That's OK. We're Midwesterners. We're used to changeable weather, and we know to keep our eye on the sky, as it's tornado season as well.

Even if there aren't a whole lot of people -- that's fine with us -- and everything isn't open, we're low-key. We'll find plenty to do. We like the outdoors, and that's always there. If the weather stinks, well, there's shopping, museums, or just spending a quiet afternoon with a good book.

We take all our Hawaiian vacations during the low tourist seasons, so this is nothing new.

Vacation begins with your attitude -- it will be what you make it! But it helps to be staying at a nice Bluegreen resort!

Sorry, not me! Never owned there. I've got the week at Stonebridge... is that what you're mixed up on?

In that case, what do you own there? What unit? Fixed Week? Floating? Escapes! Points?

Fixed week 23 at unit #614. I think we previously compared notes and found that you've either got the same unit or one very close to it.

We enjoy that week, but its getting harder and harder to use it. We actually need week 22 instead for our schedules!
